Be prepared in case something goes wrong.

In case of an accident, dial 118 and communicate it is a mountain event.

Be ready to provide the main infos, as:

• your name
• the name of the injured person
• the phone number you’re using for the call or, alternatively, a different number available for further follow up communication
• the place from where you are calling: i.e “sentiero CAI n. 1000 sul versante Nord del Monte Tambura”. If you are close to a cave-entrance or to a panel sign, please provide the detail you read. Keep your mobile switched ON.
• The phone coverage of main Italian providers is approximately:

TIM – 80%

VODAFONE – 50%

WIND – 20%
